One of my favourite quotes from Brené Brown: “When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending.”
I’m trying to discern how much of my fear is rooted in my past and making a repeat appearance in my stories and how much of this primal emotion is coming to the surface because of the present moment. I will own my story, once I flip back to find where it begins…and ends. I choose a brave new ending.
